Province delivers more funds for St. Padre Pio
Province’s investment in innovative and modern learning spaces will ensure students have high-quality education in a safe and healthy environment.
"BRANTFORD - As part of the province's ongoing efforts to build and improve local schools, the Ontario Government has provided the Brant Haldimand Norfolk Catholic District School Board with approval for a scope change at the new St. Padre Pio Catholic Secondary School in Brantford to create more student spaces. This is supported by an investment of $50.7 million which includes additional funding of $5 million.
Once completed, the scope change will add 138 additional secondary spaces to the existing secondary school to create a total of 1,257 student spaces and 128 new child care spaces for Brantford families at the new school. The investment is part of Ontario’s commitment to providing about $15 billion to support school construction, repair, and renewal over 10 years. Since 2018, the government has approved or supported the development of nearly 300 school-related projects including child care, of which more than 100 are actively under construction."
