Students looking for community hours opportunities should view the bulletin board outside of Student Services.  There is a new posting on the bulletin board for a senior in the Henderson Survey looking for students to rake leaves and shovel snow.

Attention Queen’s University Bound Students.  There are many Major Admission Award scholarships for Queen’s.  Students who demonstrate superior academic ability, creative and original thinking, involvement in school or community activities, and proven leadership can apply for a Queen’s major admission award.  Financial need is also a consideration for some of the major admission awards.  You must apply to the Ontario University Application Centre by November 20th to be considered for these awards.  For more information, please visit www.ontariouniversitiesinfo.ca/scholarships/.

Attention potential graduates who are serious about attending Queen’s University.  If you have a high school average of 90 plus percent, you are a creative and original thinker and you demonstrate leadership, you are encouraged to pick up a blue Queen’s Chancellor’s Scholarship application in Student Services.

Did You Know??? SJC is starting a SHSM – Arts and Culture Program with a focus in Dramatic Arts.  If you are currently a grade 11 student who is interested in learning more about this opportunity, please see Ms. Tchegus in rooms 102/103 ASAP.  Applications are due by October 25th so you must act quickly to avoid missing out.

Orders are now open for Improv Club spirit wear.  If you would like to have your name added to the list of people who are interested in purchasing an item, please either see or email Ms. Tchegus by today-Tuesday, October 19th.
