Are you interested in volunteering at the Elimination Draw Fundraiser on Saturday, October 21st? Student volunteers are needed for that night and you can earn volunteer hours. Please sign up in front of rooms 144 or 209. A meeting will be held closer to the event, so stay tuned.
English and Drama at SJC are proud to be organizing a fall trip to see Guys and Dolls at the Stratford Festival. The trip will be Friday, October 27. This is the last week to purchase your tickets for this fantastic play. Pay now through school-cash-on-ling. Many thanks to all those students who have paid so far. Don’t delay, payments are due Thursday for what promises to be a marvelous musical matinee. If you have any questions, see Mr. Heida or Mr. Locey. Speak to Mr. Heida and Mr. Locey as well if you wish to add your name to the list so you can pay via school-cash-on-line.
Attention SJC students, have you ever wondered how your brain works? What causes us to feel anxious, angry or scared? Want to know how to try to “rewire for happiness?” Please join Mrs. Connolly for our first lunch and lean on October 17th as she helps explain the neuroscience behind our brain and how it connects to our learning and emotions. This will take place during both lunches in the Divine Mercy Room. Bring your lunch and let’s explore our brains. Please sign up with Mrs. O’Sullivan in the library.
