Discover your potential with the YMCA Summer Work Student Exchange Program.  You’ll travel to another part of Canada for a six week English/French cultural immersion program that gives you the opportunity to improve language skills, gain work experience in another province and make new friends.  Please see Madame in room 210 or student services if you require more information.

Attention students who will be in Grade 11 or 12 next school year, have you ever thought about helping those who have been devastated by a natural disaster?  If you have the passion, then next year’s mission trip is for you.  The school board has been offering this type of mission trip to various locations in North America for over 20 years.  The mission trip is a unique experience that allows you to put your faith into action.  You will get the chance to work with students from the other 2 high schools in our school board for one week.  The tentative location for next year’s mission trip is New Orleans, Louisiana to help in the relief of damage caused by over a decade of hurricanes and tornados.  If you are interested, please pick up an application form and get more details from Mrs. Malecki in room 147.  Spots are limited, so apply as soon as possible.  Applications are due back by June 1st at the latest.

If you are pursuing a career in medicine or health care and live in Brant County or Brantford ask your guidance counselor or Ms. Koolen about The Endowment Fund of The Kiwanis Club of Grand River.  You may qualify for one of our bursaries.  Deadline to apply is May 31st.
