Tickets for our Spring Musical, Bring It On, are now on sale in the Main Office. Adults $15.00, Students and Seniors $10.00. That’s a bargain indeed.
Attention all students who have picked up information regarding the France/Italy trip over the March Break next year with the Modern Languages Department, please submit your first payment and the Application form as soon as possible to secure your spot. Attention all students wishing to attend the annual dinner meeting of Le Club Francais at Holy Trinity on Thursday, May 30th right after school. This is our annual dinner where all students of all our three high schools French Clubs meet and share a French meal together. Please see Madame in room 210 to sign up and for more information. We will be taking a bus and we will be returning by 6:15 p.m.
Attention all students interested in attending a meeting of Le Club Francais. There will be a meeting during both lunches on Tuesday, May 14th in room 210. Our guest speaker is our very own SJC RISE student, Lisa Tesson, who was born in France, lived in Montreal and Virginia, and is now an SJC RISE student. Please sign up on the door of room 210 so that arrangements can be made based on the number of students attending.
The Royal City Soccer Club is a non-profit community organization with a mission to develop soccer and sport in youth through summer camp experiences. The Club is looking for volunteers and staff for their annual summer camp. If you are looking to accumulate some community involvement hours towards your graduation requirement or would like to work for the Royal City Soccer Club, please see the bulletin boards outside of Student Services for information and applications. Congratulations to the following grade 11 and 12 students who participated in the DELF B1 French proficiency exam this week: Liam, Chiar, Lily, Adrien, Nick, Aaleigha, Matt, Sondra, Mya, Lorelai and Meghan. These students not only wrote the exam on Tuesday, but they have been meeting regularly to prepare and practice for the exam. Felicitations!!!
Good morning SJC. Together with Assumption College, the St. John’s College English Department is offering students an opportunity to see the hit dance production Billy Elliott at the Stratford Festival on May 30th. The cost per student is $40.00 which includes both the ticket cost as well as transportation. Departure time from SJC is 11:00 a.m. The show itself begins at 2:00 p.m. Students return to SJC for 7:00 p.m. Tickets are being offered on a first come, first serve basis.
