St. Pius Church is looking for students to help with our Hallowe’en for Hoodies project. Join us as we support the Saint Vincent de Paul Society with a collection of cold weather items. On Thursday, October 31st we’ll be going door to door collecting hoodies, coats, mitts, scarves, gloves, and other cold weather gear to help our less fortunate neighbors through the winter. This is a great way to get out on Hallowe’en evening to support the community and spend more time with friends. To find out more information, contact Andrew Beach at St. Pius Church or speak to Chap Andy.
There will be an information meeting about volunteering at the elimination draw on Wednesday, October 30th. Please come to room 144 at the beginning of junior lunch or see Ms. Cupoli if you cannot make it.
Attention all grade 9 students. “Take Our Kids to Work Day” will be held on Wednesday, November 6th. Students across Canada will spend the day at the workplace of a parent, relative, friend or volunteer host. This is a great opportunity to step into your future for a day. If you did not receive a permission form, please ask your homeroom teacher.
Tonight, our Junior Football Eagles play their semifinal game against North Park. Please come out to North Park football field for 8 pm to support your Eagles. Admission is $2.00 for students and $3.00 for adults. Fan support is needed.
