Students wishing to accumulate community volunteer hours should check the opportunities board outside of Student Services regularly. Currently the Salvation Army is looking for volunteers for their Kettle Campaign. There is a volunteer meeting at the Salvation Army this coming Monday, November 4th at 7:00 pm. Call 519-752-7813 or see details posted on the opportunities board outside of Student Services. Regarding other potential community service hour accumulation opportunities that students discover, students are reminded that if they are not sure if the activity would count towards their graduation requirement they should contact their Guidance Counsellor. As always, Community Involvement Activity sheets are available in Student Services.

Attention students wishing to accumulate some community service hours in the immediate future. We have an opportunity posted on the bulletin board outside of Student Services. A senior citizen has requested that students attend at her property in the St. John’s College area to rake leaves over the next week or so. Please see details on the bulletin board.
