Attention all Gr. 12 students planning on attending a post-secondary institution next year.  The University Application Workshop is Wednesday, November 13th during Period 2.  The College Application Workshop is Wednesday, November 20th during Period 1. Please see your guidance counsellor if you have any questions.

Any students still interested in wrestling for the school team, there is still time to get a permission form by the gym doors.  Please return it to Mr. Pomponio or Mr. Szeman by today-Thursday, November 7th.

The first girl’s hockey tryout will be today at 3 pm at Gretzky rinks.  Sign up and permission forms are posted by the gym doors.  Submit signed forms to Mrs. Elliott prior to the tryout today.

Girls volleyball tryout begin next week.  Senior girls’ tryouts are Monday, November 11th, Tuesday, November 12th and Wednesday, November 13th, all from 3:15 to 5 pm.  Junior girls’ tryouts are Monday, November 11th, Tuesday, November 12th and Wednesday, November 13th, all starting at 5 pm.

To all writers interested in submitting stories for the Laurier Stedman writing contest, a reminder that the submission deadline for St. John’s will be November 22nd.  Writers are invited to meet in the library on both lunches tomorrow-Friday to receive feedback and coaching.  English teachers are standing by.

The St. John’s College Gazette, your student voice, is looking for writers once again to publish in its Christmas 2019 edition.  Come to Fridays meeting in Portable 4 for more information.  All story ideas are welcome.  See you tomorrow-Friday afternoon at 3 pm.
