Merry Christmas and congratulations to all SJC writers who recently submitted their short story entries to our school’s Laurier-Stedman qualifying contest. Talk about compelling stories. Each was unique and a page turner in its own right. We’re happy to announce that four SJC students will have their stories move on to the final Laurier-Stedman contest round. They are Zoe O., Mikayla O., Ethan D.and Nathan D. Congratulations again. But for all our Laurier-Stedman student contestants, be sure to drop by Portable 6 before you leave today to receive a special literacy token of our appreciation.
