The Brantford Lights at Glenhyrst will be on display from December 3rd to January 1st, and they need student volunteers. Students may be able to obtain all 40 hours of community service at one great event. To apply, students must visit www.glenhyrst.ca/volunteers and submit the volunteer form. Volunteers will be contacted in the order the applications are received. A poster with these details is on the Board outside of Student Services.
Attention grads of June 2022, your grad application and grad fee are posted to School Cash Online. The fee must be paid, and the application form completed and submitted by November 12th. Once this is completed, you will receive an email with the online booking information from Edge Imaging. Grads are responsible for booking their own grad photo. Students who demonstrate superior academic ability, creative and original thinking, involvement in school or community activities, and proven leadership can apply for a Queen’s major admission award. Financial need is also a consideration for some of their major admission awards. You must apply to the Ontario University Application Centre by November 20th to be considered for these awards. U of Toronto Registration for Fall Campus Week. Fall Campus Week starts Saturday, October 23rd and runs until Saturday, October 30th. Prospective students will have the chance to get a preview of student life at U of T and connect with current students, faculty, and staff. Visit www.utm.utoronto.ca/future.
The SJC Business Club is happy to announce that this week’s guest speaker will be a representative from Women in Capital Markets. The meeting will be today-Wednesday October 27th, right after school in room 135. New members are always welcome.

Ontario’s universities are excited to host the virtual Ontario Universities’ Fairs (OUFs) this fall tomorrow-Tuesday, October 26th, 5-7pm (ET). All Ontario universities will participate in these free events, and anyone may attend – pre-registration is not required. These events are a great opportunity to get answers about programs, admission requirements, student life and much more.
