Attention grads! You are reminded to complete your grad application and pay your grad fee before this Friday as grad photos begin the first week we are back. Once the grad fee is paid you will receive an email to your school email account outlining the instructions on how to book your own grad photo with Edge Imaging. It is very important that your grad fee is paid, the grad application is completed, and your grad photo is booked asap! If you have questions or concerns, please see Mrs. Ronson in Student Services.
Attention grade 12 students looking for scholarship opportunities. Please visit the bulletin board outside of Student Services to view Western University’s National Indigenous Scholarship Program poster. Applications are due by March 14, 2022.
Attention Grade 12 students applying to the University of Western Ontario. Western offers a number of scholarships. St. John’s College can nominate 4 students to apply. Nomination applications are available in Student Services. Nomination applications are due by January 17, 2022.

The Canadian Federation of University Women Brantford (CFUW) has a $1,000.00 scholarship for females who have achieved an average of 85% or higher based on 6 credits for entrance to post-secondary education programs. To qualify, you must have demonstrated involvement in and commitment to extracurricular activities and or community volunteering and or employment. The final selection will be based on a non-academic criteria as indicated on the application form. Please stop by Student Services to pick up a green application form. Applications are due in April.

Are you passionate about the environment or would you like to start learning more? Then join Eco Team! We will be having a meeting tomorrow-Thursday during both lunches. Juniors will be in room 161 and seniors in room 166.
Junior book club will be meeting today at lunch in the library.
Messaging went home last week to all potential graduates and their families regarding the NEW Graduation Date of June 2022. SJC will now be having their graduation ceremony on Tuesday, June 28th at 7 pm at the Sanderson Centre. The Graduation Rehearsal will also be held on the same day June 28th, but in the morning.
There are many potential grads who have paid their grad fee and submitted their grad application but HAVE NOT yet booked their grad photo. Information on how to book your graduation photo through Edge Imaging’s online system was emailed to your school email account by Mrs. Ronson. It is your responsibility to ensure you take care of booking your own grad photo. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Ronson in Student Services.
The girl’s hockey team played their first game against McKinnon Park on Tuesday, December 7th at Caledonia Skating Club. The score was McKinnon Park 3, St. John’s 2 with Jasmine Klunder scoring the first goal period 2 and Hadley Shannon scoring the second goal period 3. Great job girls! They will be playing against PJ today at the Gretzky Centre at 4 pm. Wish them luck! Let’s go SJC Eagles.
The Job Skills class will be having a Christmas Craft Sale tomorrow-Thursday during Junior Lunch. Come out and support the Angel Campaign by purchasing beautiful Christmas Cards, tree ornaments, pottery items plus so much more. Prices range from $1.00 to $2.00. Come to the Job Skills Room 141 tomorrow at Junior Lunch. Thanks for your support.
