Attention music students, if you borrowed an instrument or music book from Mrs. Marriott in June, please see her as soon as possible to arrange a return or a new instrument form.  Any students interested in joining either the concert band, the junior band or the school choir this year should sign up this week.  There will be sign up lists posted with more information on room 142.  See Mrs. Marriott if you have any questions.

To all those girls who are interested in playing 7s rugby for SJC this fall, please come to an info meeting today on senior lunch in room 149.  If you are in grade 9 or 10, don’t worry, we haven’t forgotten you.  There will be information sheets for you to grab outside room 149.  Practices start next week.

Did you take art with Mrs. DiStefano, Ms. Davies and or Mr. Dobrowolski last year, and did not pick up your artwork or portfolio.  You have a last chance to save your artwork or your portfolio from the recycling bin.  Please pick up your artwork or portfolio by today from your former teacher.  After today and unclaimed artwork and portfolios will be disposed of.

Anyone interested in scorekeeping volleyball or basketball and would like to earn volunteer or eagle points, please see Mr. Pomponio in the male phys ed office.

Attention all students traveling to France and Italy during the March Break with Madame and the Modern Languages Department, your September payment is due on September 30^th.  Please stop by room 210 to receive more information.

Attention any boys in grade 9 or 10 interested in trying out for the junior boys’ volleyball team, tryouts will be on Monday and Tuesday at 5 p.m. in the gym and Wednesday at 3:30 next week.  Please sign up and pick up a permission form at the gym doors.

Attention students interested in signing up for Summer School with BHNCDSB, the deadline to apply is Sunday, June 16th.  If you are interested in summer school with the Grand Erie board the deadline to apply is June 27th.  See Student Services for assistance.

Attention graduating students attending vocational and technical education programs in the fall.  The Horatio Alger National Vocational and Technical Scholarship Program offers up to $3,000.00 in scholarship funds to a student enrolled in a technical degree or certificate program for the fall of 2019. 

Applications are due July 15, 2019.  Check out the wall file in Student Services for information on how to apply.

Attention all students taking civics and careers online in summer school, there is a mandatory meeting on Tuesday, June 18th at junior lunch in the Devine Mercy Room.  Important information regarding course content, expectations and requirements will be discussed at the meeting so it is important you attend.  Please see Mr. Beaudin, Mr. Lynch, or Mr. Penner for more details. 

Attention students looking to accumulate some community service hours.  The Brantford General Hospital is looking for summer volunteers.  Students must be at least 15 years old and able to commit to their required minimum number of shifts.  More details and requirements are available on the Opportunities board outside of Student Services.
