Attention golfers, anyone interested in trying out for the golf team needs to sign up and grab forms from room 237.  That’s golf team, room 237.

Anyone interested in scorekeeping volleyball or basketball and would like to earn volunteer or eagle points, please see Mr. Pomponio in the male phys ed office.

Attention all students traveling to France and Italy during the March Break with Madame and the Modern Languages Department, your September payment is due on September 30th.  Please stop by room 210 to receive more information.

Cross country practices will be on Wednesday and Thursday this week.  Meet Miss McIntosh at 3:15 p.m. outside the gym doors.  Please pick up a permission form from outside the gym doors in advance.

Attention music students, if you borrowed an instrument or music book from Mrs. Marriott in June, please see her as soon as possible to arrange a return or a new instrument form.  Any students interested in joining either the concert band, the junior band or the school choir this year should sign up this week.  There will be sign up lists posted with more information on room 142.  See Mrs. Marriott if you have any questions.

Attention girls interested in trying out for the Junior Girls Basketball Team, tryouts will begin tomorrow-Wednesday, September 4th from 5 – 6:30 p.m.  A second tryout will be held on Thursday, September 5th from 5 – 6:30 p.m.  Both tryouts will be in the gym.  If needed a third tryout will be held on Friday, September 6th.  All girls interested are expected to be at both tryouts.  If you have any questions or concerns, please see Mrs. Ronson in Student Services.

Attention graduating students attending vocational and technical education programs in the fall.  The Horatio Alger National Vocational and Technical Scholarship Program offers up to $3,000.00 in scholarship funds to a student enrolled in a technical degree or certificate program for the fall of 2019. 

Applications are due July 15, 2019.  Check out the wall file in Student Services for information on how to apply.

Attention all students taking civics and careers online in summer school, there is a mandatory meeting on Tuesday, June 18th at junior lunch in the Devine Mercy Room.  Important information regarding course content, expectations and requirements will be discussed at the meeting so it is important you attend.  Please see Mr. Beaudin, Mr. Lynch, or Mr. Penner for more details.

Attention students looking to accumulate some community service hours.  The Brantford General Hospital is looking for summer volunteers.  Students must be at least 15 years old and able to commit to their required minimum number of shifts.  More details and requirements are available on the Opportunities board outside of Student Services.

Attention Grade 12 Graduating Students who will be attending post-secondary school this fall or in the fall of 2020.  The Brant District Women’s Institute is offering a $1,000.00 Bursary to a successful applicant.  Details and applications are available in Student Services and are due to the Brant District Women’s Institute July 30, 2019.

Tomorrow during senior lunch, the Guitar and Vocal Class will be hosting a lunch time concert as part of their culminating activity.  The concert will run for the entire duration of Senior lunch in Room 130 and will feature students from the Guitar and Vocal Class.  You can bring your lunch.  Be sure to check it out and cheer on your peers.
