Attention summer school co-op students, please make sure that you have returned your placement forms signed to Mrs. Svec in the student kitchen by today.  We will be making placement calls this afternoon and will not be able to place you without this form. 

Are you interested in travelling on the March Break 2020 trip to Germany, Switzerland and Italy?  If you missed the information meeting, you can pick up the package with all itinerary, pricing and details from Ms. Davies in room 231.  We can also give you new information about acquiring a grade 11 credit in conjunction with this trip.

Attention all students traveling to France and Italy on the March Break next year with the Modern Languages Department, please see Madame in you have not made your deposit but you intend to do so.

Attention concert band, intermediate band and choir members, today you are all asked to meet in the music room after school to hand in all outstanding music and instruments, for some group photos, and to list to the band performances from Canada’s Wonderland.  Attendance is not mandatory, but there might be snacks.  We will also discuss ideas for next year.  Hope to see you there.

Do you want to do something exciting over the March break 2020?  Are you interested in learning and seeing the arts, cultures, sights and sounds of Germany, Switzerland, and Italy?  If you said yes to both questions, then this message is for you.  There will be an information meeting for parents and students about the March 2020 Europe trip today at 6:00 p.m. in the upper staffroom.  We will be going over the trip’s itinerary and all details.

The Royal City Soccer Club is a non-profit community organization with a mission to develop soccer and sport in youth through summer camp experiences.  The Club is looking for volunteers and staff for their annual summer camp.  If you are looking to accumulate some community involvement hours towards your graduation requirement or would like to work for the Royal City Soccer Club, please see the bulletin board outside of Student Services for information and applications.  Please note that Royal City Soccer Club prefers online applications at www.royalsoccer.com.

Attention all students in need of volunteer hours.  V.O.N. Canada is opening a new clinic in town.  They are looking for volunteers to help them move into their new office on May 16 & 17.  For more information, including contact information, please come to Student Services.

Congratulations to the following students who have been awarded Students of the Month for April.  They are Guneet D, Hannah K, Giosef P, Chiara B and Matthew P.  These students are asked to see Mr. Picone to pick up their awards tomorrow-Thursday.  Congratulations to all of you for your dedication to SJC.
